Before permanently attaching the muffler and exhaust system to my Excalibur, I wanted it coated to protect it, help with performance, and add a nice look to the Excalibur.  A coated exhaust system looks like this:   First we attached the exhaust system to the engine: MVC-626F.JPG (151766 bytes) and then removed the elbow after marking the places for the spring retainers: MVC-627F.JPG (174283 bytes)  Then Mike welded the retainers into place: MVC-623F.JPG (177220 bytes) MVC-628F.JPG (135525 bytes)  Then we attached the exhaust system and connected the springs: MVC-633F.JPG (164965 bytes) MVC-636F.JPG (178885 bytes)  I then shipped the exhaust system to Baxter Engineering for the stainless steel/ceramic coating.  Their website is located here: http://www.bc-engr.com/Avaition_Hobby/avaition_hobby.html

Before I left Mike's, I took some pictures of my trailer.  Notice the wing slings, parts cases, ramp door and side entry door.  Neat huh?
